Gardening for Nature: Best shrubs for wild life; attract more activity to your yard. Shrubs provide food, cover and a place to raise young, they are the work horses of a wildlife garden.
Plant : Bearberry, Buttonbush, Viburnums, Hollies, Sumac just to name a few.

Bees: Honey Bees pollinate 80% of the fruit, vegetable and seed crops in the U.S.  A Honey Bee can fly 15 miles per hour. Their two sets of wings beat 250 times per second. They use their tongue to gather nectar.

Fact: one acre of land plus 1 inch of rain on that acre = 27,500 gallons of water !

Fact: Most of your vegetables and fruit travel 1,500 miles to get to your table, buy and support local food in your area.
